Letter from David Colquhoun, concerning the case of Mr Campbell and a brief note on Mr Scot. Notwithstanding Mr Campbell's use of the remedies prescribed, the cracks in his skin on the genitals discharge a 'thin Ichor', accompanied by a 'pricking heat'. Colquhoun has nothing to say of Mr Scot's hearing, as he only began Cullen's prescription last Sunday.24 July 1781

Mr Campbell's cracked and weeping skin upon the genital region continues, despite applying prescribed remedies. Mr Scot has continued Cullen's prescription for his hearing, but Colquhoun is as yet unaware of any alteration in the condition.23 August 1781
