Reply, 'Sutherland of Clyne', probably addressed to John Alves. Cullen fears that the patient ('an old acquaintance of mine') has left it too long to follow his suggestion to go to Inverness, but gives advice for his treatment all the same. For his paralysis, 'I have nothing to propose but a trial of Electricity which I believe he cannot have north of Inverness.' He also suspects a kidney stone. | 16 November 1784 | |||
