The Consultation Letters of Dr William Cullen (1710-1790) at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh
Letter from Thomas Christie, a former (private?) pupil, to Cullen, concerning his tour through England, about which he has written to Creech, and settling in London. He is now a private pupil at the Westminster Dispensary under Dr Simmons, and attends Hunter's lectures in the evening. He reports on various medical men, and a visit to Archibald Cullen and his wife. He encloses a (now missing) prospectus for a new literary journal, 'The Analytical Review', undertaken at the request of Dr Percival, and tells Cullen that 'Your Materia Medica is expected here with great impatience'.
