Tho the Revd Mr Mudie of Portmoak Concerning Eyes.


To there is not much Inflammation upon her Eyes I would
apply four or five Leeches to each Eye & allow them to bleed fully


--- Let her take for a week or two a Dram of Polychrest Salt.
every morning in a much of new drawn Cow milk whey. or as
much of the Salt to give her one stool in the day --


Let her sit in a dark Chamber --


Eye Water -- plain cold water as often as the itching or
smarting makes it agreeable.


If the Seton is still in her neck, let it continue --
