For Mrs Maccallaster.
During the last week of every month take a heaped teaspoon¬
ful of the Powder ordered below., three times a day. They must be
taken in a little water & washed down with a little of the same.
She is to begin them about a week before an alteration is expec¬
ted and give them over as soon as any alteration happens.
Avoid exercise except the most gentle, especially during the
use of the Medicine - At other times moderate riding will
be of service. If she have conveniency for sea bathing she may
use the first three weeks of her month.
Diet light & cooling, altogether abstaining from strong drink.
In case of costiveness, take a teaspoonfull of Fl. sulph.
in the morning.
Take two drachms of Powdered Peruvian bark, two ounces of cinnamon Powder, half an ounce of Alum rupeum. Mix to obtain a powder, and label Strengthening powder
