For Mr Beaumont

Take one drachm of Myrrh of the best quality, eight ounces of peppermint water. Dissolve and strain, and to the strained liquid add half a drachm of superior allum, two drachms of white sugar. Mix. Label Strengthening Mixture/ The mouth to be rinced with this two table spoonfuls of this every night and morning, the first & last thing that is done. Both before and after this is done the mouth maybe washed out with cold water.
