I give you the trouble of this in consequence
of my Daughter Lady Charlotte Hay having for
these two last Winters had frequent attacks of
the Rheumatism in her Head, & right arm,
and tho' it has been of any long continuance,
yet the pain her Head has been often very
violent, &prevented her getting any rest at
night, & altho' she is happily free of any com¬
plaint at present she is anxious to have
your advice, in hopes something may be
done during the Summer months to prevent
[Page 2]
a return of her distress [when?] the cold weather comes
back, as it is generally in that Season she
suffers most,
Your most humble Servant
