in her greatest danger a Physician [Start of margin text]J. F. M. D.[End of margin text] was
call'd in who gravely told her sister & I. All
was over, & in vain to use any medicine.
I prepared the Vol. Musk. Julap as mentiond
in my last. & gave a teaspoonfull every five
minutes. being as much as would pass -
and can't help observing that it certainly
had a Miraculous Effect.

She complains of pains & weakness in her
knees & prickling in her finger Ends. I am
using constant frictions with ye brush &ct -
