I have the pleasure to acquaint
that your Patient Mrs. Younghusband, to my
great surprise is so far recover'd, as to be able
to walk cross her Chamber. & to eat any kind
of animal food &ct. with a craving Appetite
in her greatest danger a Physician [Start of margin text]J. F. M. D.[End of margin text] was
call'd in who gravely told her sister & I. All
was over, & in vain to use any medicine.
I prepared the Vol. Musk. Julap as mentiond
in my last. & gave a teaspoonfull every five
minutes. being as much as would pass -
and can't help observing that it certainly
had a Miraculous Effect.
She complains of pains & weakness in her
knees & prickling in her finger Ends. I am
using constant frictions with ye brush &ct -
She has natural Stools. & All medicines
laid aside - if any restoratives, or bark
in any form be usefull, please to prescribe
& Mr. Younghusband will with pleasure pay you ---
