Sir


Captain Duncan M Neill of Dunmore
was Sudently Sized with a Gidyness in his head
about ↑a↑ month past, & Continues Ever Since to
have Flaying pains of over all his Body with
a palpitation of his Heart, and Greatly Trubld
with Flatulancy and Doutfull aprehensions
of his Recouvery, at the Same time his pulse
Seldom varies from 70 in the minit
. has his
appetite purty Regular, and at times Hearty
and Cheearfull, he is aman of alively Disp¬
osition aged 48 and was alway Subject to
Rheums, has this winter & Spring Keept the
House too much.


When he was first Taken ill he
was Blooded & vomited and ordred to go about --
Some Stomachig Bitters given with a Few of the
ant'Histerick pills given at proper Distances.
it's hope'd Doctor Cullen on Receipt of this
will take his Case Emediatly to Consideration
and Send his advice & perscriptions by
post, Directed to him at Dunmore by
Inveraray and Tarbert Argyllshire
he is often Troubled with wind on his Stomach
and When it lives the Stomach Flays to his
head and feels a Coaldness in it, then with
Giddyness, he finds Rideing ↑agrees↑ purty well
with him -- his nerves is much weakned
by his Complains & Begs againe that the
Doctor will lose no time in writing him
