The Consultation Letters of Dr William Cullen (1710-1790) at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh

[ID:1820] From: Mr George Knott / To: [ADDRESSEE UNKNOWN] / Regarding: Mrs Knott (Ford) (Knot) (Patient), Miss Ford (Patient) / 26 February 1780 / (Incoming)

Letter from George Knott at Conistone, concerning the case of his wife, who is pregnant. Mentions a Miss Ford in passing who, from earlier letters, can be identified as his sister-in-law. He plans to visit Edinburgh 'this summer'. He also asks Cullen his advice on another matter; he keeps a pack of dogs and is worried his family may be at risk from eating a hare caught by dogs which later 'appeared to be going mad'. He has also written from Lorn in Argyle, so not clear where he resides.
