Letter from George Knott at Conistone, concerning the case of his wife, who is pregnant. Mentions a Miss Ford in passing who, from earlier letters, can be identified as his sister-in-law. He plans to visit Edinburgh 'this summer'. He also asks Cullen his advice on another matter; he keeps a pack of dogs and is worried his family may be at risk from eating a hare caught by dogs which later 'appeared to be going mad'. He has also written from Lorn in Argyle, so not clear where he resides.26 February 1780

Letter from George Knott, addressed from The George, Buxton, concerning the case of Mrs Knott asking whether she should drink or bathe in Buxton water. A note added on the reverse in Cullen's office states that the answer was not copied but simply records 'drinking and bathing allowed'.3 July 1780
