I Immediately transmitted, your Card to Mr
Kennedy, and by thursday Last's post I forwarded yours
to Mr Logan. ----------
By this Post yesterday, I received a Letter from
Mr Kennedy ↑dated 27 January↑ Containing the following Paragraphs
"I had your last Incloseing Doctor Cullens Card by
"Saturdays post --- I had great hopes of having
"the Doctors Opinion yesterday but it did not appear -
"The Child has been very ill for some days past the
"Consequence I believe of the pushing of an Eye tooth -
- "A Considerable Swelling appeared behind one of his
"Ears which by Poultieces has been brought [Suppo↑u↑rate?]
"and given him much releif. - I wish the Doctor
knew this Circumstance".
It is probable Mr Kennedy wished this
Paragraph to reach you before you gave your
Opinion, but in which it may be probable
it woud have made no alteration -- however
I will Let him know by this Nights post that
I Excerpted the paragraph and Sent it to
you --------
