Sir

I received your opinion of my Com¬
plaints, with your advice and prescription which
I shall strictly follow. The uneasy feeling in my
Stomach & Side are much the same as when
I saw you, but my Urine I think is much
lighter coloured, and seldom any of the red se¬
diment
in it as before, the inclination to swel¬
ing
appears also within to decrease. I have
taken the bitter infusion every morning as
you directed, which I think is of service to me
particularly in expelling Wind which I am
much toubled with, the first Chopin I have
very near finished, am I to go on with it
immediately, or do you intend that I should (as
is simetimes recommended) leave it off for
a few days, before I begin again.- The begin¬
ing of nixt month I shall take two or three

[Page 2]

Keyser Pills a Week and shall observe what
you mentioned relative to them.- I supose I
have no occasion to confine myself or keep
women during the time of taking them. I
should be glad to know if they have the effect
of keeping the Bowels oppen, indeed I have
thought my Bowels wither too much as
for some time past, not that I have any
purging, but I have often two stools in the
day, which perhaos may help to keep me
weaker than I otherwise would, be so obliging
as let me know your opinion of this par¬
ticular.

I am Sir Your Most obedienthumbleServant
