Dear Sir


After some difficulty your
Son 1 & I found out Mr Angiers - He is
removed from the Country & now lives
in Poland Street No 2 - He is the
man famous here for curing stuttering
& Stammering
, & indeed every im¬
pediment
about the Mouth - The
Deaf & Dumb he never undertakes -


His terms are fifty Guineas for the
Cure & sixteen shillings a week board
during the Patients residence with
him - He has the sum mentioned
for a common hesitation of speech

but if other impediments are joined to
that, he must have more in proportion
according to the time it may require
to bring about the Cure -


H Mr Angiers had a patient of yours
under his care - A Miss Carter of Thack¬
stone near Borrowbridge, & he pleases
himself with the Idea that he gave you
perfect satisfaction - Any farther
information you may want I will
with pleasure procure for you - Dont
think me capable of neglecting your
orders by my being so long silent - No

satisfaction to have it in my power to
be of any service here & you may com¬
mand me freely -
