1. Let her take three of the strengthening Pills twice a day
& the most proper times are an hour before Dinner & as long before supper

2. After Every Dose of the Pills let her take about a gill of
Hartfall Spaw Water, & I think she should take as much
of that Water every Day before breakfast I if her stomach bears
it well another glass of the same size between eleven & twelve
forenoon 3 Both these medicines should be continued for 7.
or 8 Weeks only the should be laid aside for two or three
days at the end of Every 3. Weeks

[Page 2]

4. Towards the same period when the pains of her back
come on she should before going to bed every night bath her
feet in warm water taking care to dry them well
before going to bed & keeping them warm during the Night

5 Tow or three days before the same Period if the Lady Could
have the conveniency of taking a warm bath for her whole body
or at least to above her haunches I think it would be of service
to her & I would advise it to be employed before every period for
three or four times to Come -

6. It will always be of use for her to take Exercise- Even
moderate walking will be of service but going on horseback will
be still better & better also than going in a carriage ---

7. The Lady's Diet should be light but sufficiently nourishing
& she may take what meat she finds she can easily digest
Much Roots or Greens, Raw fruit or Cold [sallading?] I think
bad for her

8. For Ordinary Drink White Wine & Water is the best &
two or three Glasses of any white wine both at Dinner &
supper I think very proper -- Coffee & Tea I think are both
bad for her especially if taken largely --
