Mr. Graham
Sir

I am sorry to find you so little recovered
but I always expected it would be slow and I hope
you need not yet despair. I wish you had told
me how my medicines both Powders and pills
had agreed with you and particularly how
far the pills seemed to have power in abating
your looseness, for I hardly know any thing
that promises most to relieve you. I have
however Sent you here a Prescription which
I hope will assist a good deal. I would have
you continue the Pills by taking two or three
almost every night at bed time and when you
take two pills only, you may take two table
spoonfuls of the mixture now prescribed
along with them, but when you take three
of the pills, you should take but one spoonful
of the mixture only. In other respects you would
follow the directions I formerly gave you as

the milk taken by itself did not agree well
with you, you have done well in letting it alon[e]
but you may still continue to take it with
the Rice or Sago. You have done very properly
in chusing your habitation and I think you
should continue in it. Wishing you heartily
better health I am
