Miss Corner
Dear Sir

Some very particular accidents have prevented my
Answering your letter concerning Miss Corner and now I
must say that I wish you had written your letter while
Miss Corner was ↑not↑ sitting by for then I would have expected
that you would have given me a particular account of the
present state of the tumour which I have not seen or
felt for three years past and I suppose you might
have given me an account of her Complaints somewhat
different from what the patient herself dictated to you
I am very doubtful if I can be of any Service in this
case but if you please to write me on the Subject en¬
tirely as from yourself I will give the best advice
I can.

Dear Sir
