Normalized Text

[Page 1]

For Mr. Abernetty

I find only one thing omitted & that is with regard
to his staying at Banf or his going to the Country
Banf is not so large a town as to affect the state
of the air at this season & therefore unless our patient's
habitation be singularly confined, I should not think
it very necessary for him to be removed into the
Country: but I must own that even Banf is not so
free as places at some distance from it & especially
places removed farther from the Sea.

Banf tho not liable to an impure air is so to
a very bleak & cold air when the wind is N.E. If
such a wind then set in now as may be expected I
would remove him to the Country, at some distance from
the Sea & at the same time not upon an eminence exposed
to N.E. wind.
