Put one parcel of № I. into three much¬
kins of water. Set this over the fire & let
it boil till a third is boiled away. Then add
a parcel of № II, & after boiling for five mi¬
nutes more take the whole from the fire
& strain it thro course of a table napkin.

When cool put it in two muchkin bot¬
tles to be well cooked. One of these to be
drunk at divided draughts in the course of a
day. The most proper times are when the
Stomach is most empty & therefore once
before breakfast, twice in the forenoon & once
again in the Evening an hour before Supper.

The Decoction should be made in the morning
& if the two muchkin bottles do not hold the
whole of it Mr B. should take what is over

No confinement or particular diet is re¬
quired: only let all salted & high seasoned
