For Mr Law Younger of Elphinstone


No Confirmed Disease - To depend upon Air exercise
and Diet. - To go to the Country & first to use a close
carriage, as the weather &c mend go on horseback, then
a steadily pursued Journey of some length - No bodily exercise
& whatever hurries his breathing is bad. - Carefully
gaurding at all times against cold.


Diet milk and Grain avoiding on the one hand &cc


Drink Water or Watery Liquors as &c. abstaining
entriely from all fermented or Spiritous Liquors.


Continue the Anodyne Draught hora somni 1 till he can
lay it aside when he gets air & exercise -


Whilst he continues his draught he may be costive, if so
it must be relieved by Glyster or gentle Laxative. If
Magnesia answer it is otherwise very proper ---


If the Linctus I ordered seems to quiet his Cough it
maybe continued at pleasure
