Dr Riddel Concerning Mr Burnet.

The relief of such an ailment at his time of life & will
require at least some time & pains. Your measures very
probable but he has not done justice to the Uva ursi &
I still think it the most probable remedy he can em¬
ploy. Will therefore recommend no other at present but
beg him to continue some time as you propose for
under 2 or 3 weeks it does not shew its effects. If it
should fail or any thing new occur & cc.
