For Mr Thomson at Haggerston

Take half a drachm of Bearberry Leaves, making twenty doses to be taken in case of emergency Label: Diuretic Powders one twice a day in a little white wine & water washing it down with a cupfull of the following

Take half and ounce of wild carrot Seeds. Cook in between three and two pounds of spring water. Away from the heat, add half an ounce of crushed Juniper berries. Leave for two hours and drain. Label: Diuretic Decoction

Take thick Balsam of Sulphur and Tar water, in the proportion of half a drachm per pound of Tar Water; with Powdered root of elecampagne in sufficient quantity to make a Mass to be divided in single pills of four grams each. Label: Pectoral Pills, two to be taken every night and morning, washing them down with a cup of Coltsfoot Tea.
