For Mr Henderson.


No internal Medicine can be of service. But his belly must
be kept regular by a Mercurial Purgative from time to time.


The rubbing with flannel to be continued. Only in the morning
& should be from below upwards. - gentle but continued for
10 or 15 minutes. If the swelling shall be discussed it will
be better to employ a flesh brush than flannel


Electricity may be tried with caution - to be applied to
arm & leg separately. the circuit not to be made
thro his body & not to go near his head. - At first moderĀ¬
rate but afterwards according to the effects increasing it.
