For Mr Kilpatrick


At his time of life his ailments difficult to
mend but I hope pains &cc


Proper to go to the country directly. As soon
as he gets there he should a apply a blistering Plaister of
a moderate size to the crown of his head & part of
it to be made a perpetual Issue ---


As Soon as the Issue is in a tolerable train
he should set out on a journey to be constantly
pursued by t moderate journies, 2 or 3 stages a day.


He cannot do better than go to Bath &
there he may see the waters moderately for a week
or two, but should not bathe his whole body
It will be very proper for his leg from the haunch
downwards pumped every day----------


On the journey continue the Strong thining Tincture but
lay it aside at Bath Bath - the same of the Balsam
,,,, both on the Journey & at Bath continue the Fleshbrush
in the mornings ---


If costiveness occurs let him take one of two of
the Pills ordered below


On the Journey moderate Diet both in Bathing
& drinking ---

Take a pill mass of two drachms of Aloeticks, to be divided into twenty-four pills. Label: Laxative Pills.
