For Miss Davidson at Eyemouth

For preventing returns it will be absolutely proper to
↑again↑ open an Issue, either a perpetual Issue in her side, or
what would be better a pea Issue in her arm.

When from any feelings she apprehends the return
of Asthma let her take at bedtime the Pectoral
draught ordered below, which may be repeated for some
nights together. When fits actually come on she
must take the Diaphoritic Mixture formerly employ↑d↑.

When she is using either the Pectoral Draught or
Diaphoretic Mixture, any Costiveness is to be
prevented either by glysters or by one or other of
the Laxatives mentioned to Mr Wightman.

In the Intervals of fits let her take the
strengthening Infusion ordered on 't'other page.
During the present season she should if possible bring
herself to bear a little fresh Air, & if she could
be brought to bear some very gentle exercise
on Horseback, I think she would be the better for it.
