I received your letter in answer to mine relative
to my sisters Complaints. She has taken the medicine you
prescribed ever since, and thinks herself much the better
of it, let me know if she is to continue as you before
directed. ---
As to my own Complaints, I am better I
think in most respects, yet rather stronger, but slowly. -
I have now taken 21 of Keysers Pills, but gave them over
a few days ago as they began I thought too much
to affect my Bowells, in this case I think you described
I would. I shall be glad to know your opinion as to Con¬
tinuing them.-- My Stomach is enteirely better
and I am not much troubled with the uneasyness in
my Side and Shoulder, when the Pills had the effect before
mentioned I think they within made it worse, untill
the Cause was over.. I have now no breaking out on
my feet, but still expect ubeasybess and discolouring
when I get up in the morning, but goes ↑off↑ on moving
about. The Skin still peels of a good diel from the
[Page 2]
tops of my fingers, attended sometimes with a kind
of stiffness in the joints of them, and numbness
in the morning, this last also goes off on moving
them. My Urine is now perfectly clear, not the
smallest sediment (as before) for some time.--
I have set I thinking also out almost entirely the better
of the swellings I complain'd of in different parts
except I little in my feet (and that very trifling)
perhaps on using them [rather to much?], of an evening.
My Diet is entirely Vegetable's & Whey, which I think
agree with me, much better than the Animal food.--
This will be delivered to you by my sister with
my best respects- I should be glad to hear from
you when convenient.
I am Dear Sir
