Eglingham October 2d 1787.
Sir

Yesterday I took the last of the
stomachic tincture which you
prescribed for the flatulent --
complaint which I consulted you
about last week in Mr. Walkers
hotel; and as yet have found myself
not much the better having as
usual about noon, the fulness in
my stomach which I mentioned,
and a trifling pain or rather
weakness in the small of my back,
the directions you gave me I have
exactly followed. I shall beg
the favor of an answer to this, and
if you think it proper that I should
take any more medicine you will
be so good to get it made up and
send it by the diligence or mail Coach
directed to me by Alnwick. I am

Sir Your obedient humble Servant
Robt. Ogle
