Yours received Yesterday. am
Again desired by Mr. Younghusband
to write to you -
Friday last at 3 ,o'Clock took another
fit. and one hour after the severest I
ever saw. She lay with her mouth open
& the lungs played with that Difficulty
that the noise might be heard over the
House, her pulse almost at least often
Stopt. It is impossible to describe or
you to conceive the Situation unless present.
it lasted above twenty minutes her freind
retired and all ↑hope↑ given over. but to our
Surprise has come ↑about↑ again. She lies in a
kind of Stupor. Swallows. Small broths &
Wine but bread won't pass.
Had a [pallid?] Stool yesterday and
Call'd for the bed pan. I have this Day
ordered an Injection of Chicken broth.
In short I am at a Loss. Your Answer is desired
by the Family.
[Page 2]
P.S.
I forgot to tell you that in this Extreme
Languor I made a Julap of Sal. C. C.
& Musk. which I am inclined to beleive has
had a recruiting Effect -
Say If to be Continued, and
your own form - & quantity
