Sir

This will advise you that Mr Buists
Son during the continuance of the Specific
Pills had a return of the Convulsive fit every other
Night, and the intrum Night a fit as it were
the Delirium of a Fever with much difficulty
to keep him in Bed, without any Convulsive
appearance. I did not seee him under them
but as Mr Buist told me - during the use of
most of the Pills he gave up using the Bark
with Wine
, since which he complains of
want of Appetite and weakness, for which
to wards the last of the Pills I repeated the
Bark again and he has taken only one
fit for this eight or nine Days past, his
Stomach is swelled a little as when he had
the Ague, Which was then reduced by the
Camphorated Oil & Sacred Elixir what
future advice will very much oblige

Sir
Your most Obedient & humble Servant
Jn'o Gordon

PS
The Specific Pills had all the
desired effects making him sick every
morning & which was continued by encreasing
them -----
