Dear Sir
This will be handed you by
A Mr Johnston from this whom I have perswad¬
ed to take your Advice for the cure of a Sore
Throat of which he has Complained for Some
Considerable time Tho I have examined it very
Attentively at different times it has never
had much apearance of desease the Fauces ar
Generaly of a brighter red then Common and the
Tonsils have Constantly Some degree of Swelling
the Uvula seems relaxed & hanging on the tongue
he Alsoe Complains of Some pain and dryness in
One nostril for these Compalints I have given

him at Several times Bark, Mercurials, Astringent
Gargles and he is at present using Antimonial
Wine from this last he thinks he findes some
good effects --- Mr Hamiltons Ship for Jamaica
had gon down to Fairly the day I received yours
and would have Sailed next day but had Some
of her hands empressed which with the Change
of Wind Still Keeps her --- Mr Moody is much
as when you Saw him - I remain with great
