This will acquaint you of the State of Mrs
Margaret Logie's present State of health Who's
case was wrote and transmitt you in July 1779
Upon which Your prescriptions and directions
were Sent all which were punctually Observed
Youll please to remember her Case was
Imposthums in the gutts & the Medicines
ordered were Tincture Martis - an Infusion ex
Cortex peruviana Cinnamon & Tincture Cortex Peruviana - also Magnesia alba & Oculi cancer All which were taken Accord¬
ing to the direction - Her dyett & exercise were
also Observed - Upon takeing the Medicines
for Some time She was rather better, of her com¬
plaints. Untill now About a Month past She
has been much distressed with cold & heat fitts
often once a day at other times once in two or three
days a frequent Vomiting, but no blood or Matter
a Soreness raither pain in the parts affected of
her Intestines & a Violent pain in the joint of
her thigh
