Sir

I beg leave to transmitt you inclosed the case of Mr Craufuird
of Ardmilland, a Gentleman in this neighbourhood, whom I
suppose you may recollect to have seen, with his father in
Law Mr Kennedy, when you were in this country --

He begs you will return him your advice concerning
his Management as soon as possibly suits your conveniency.
As he is exceedingly apprehensive I need not desire you to
be careful not to mention any thing in your directions,
that his anxiety can possibly wrest to his dysadvantage
- yet his friends wish much that you would give your
opinion concerning him through me -- [I] have
always the honour to be with the most respect[ful]
regard

Sir
Your Most Obedient &
Oblidged Servant

Everard McIntyre
