Sir

Since my return home I have found my
giddiness rather increased than otherways
, owing as I
imagin to the Issue in my head being closed by the time I
arrived here, and to a costiveness I was accompanyed with
during the course of my Journy; the Issue I have again
opened
, and I hope it will be usefull. What particular part
of the head
is the most proper for it? Yesterday I was drawn
blood of
by four Leeches, they took away as much as could be
expected: This morning at the time of taking the aperient
solution
, I threw up a pretty large quantity of peelish stuff
at the intervals of taking the aperient solution which
pressed the pain in my head very much, tho' since throwing
it up
I have been less giddy & more easie; my surgeon Mr.
Stevenson wants that I should take a vomit to clear my
stomach
of this stuff, which he says will always while there
make me giddy, this you will well know, the stuff that

[Page 2]

I threw up was
exceeding green & sower. I beg your thoughts
on this matter which will very singularly oblige

Sir
Your most Obedient humble Servant
