I received both your kind letters with Dr Cullens
opinion's one of which I shall return you by the Car¬
rier, The first Doze was violent suppose owing to
the Reasons given by Dr Cullen the Other was tried
Thursday last and the Sweat kept more moderate
I felt a Great Releiff from the first triall altho my
pains returned the next day, with great violence upon
my shoulders & arms I have felt little Releiff from
the last only from my neck, which allows me to lye
Easier in the night time, But my pains upon my
Arms & neck continue very severe especially when
I walk & niether any {illeg}tion, But I am much troubled
with my Stomach and a Great headake, can take no
meat but it Returns ↑upon↑ me with a Squeamishness which
makes ↑me↑ very uneasy, Annie Joins me in Compliments to
you & mr Davidson
