Dear Sir

I have the Pleasure to tell you that We all ar¬
rived safe here on Wenesday to dinner. It is im¬
possible to Express how much George Recover’d on
the Road; and in spite of the Extreme heat, He felt
no Uneasiness, but Eat and slept perfectly well. He
now daily grows stronger, and as the Weather continues
very warm I propose his beginning to ride tomor¬
row, Lest He should overheat himself in Walk¬
ing. His body still keeps in the same Easy state
generally two stools a day, this morning he has
taken one of the Doses we brought from Edinburgh,
as we thought it might be of service to him
after his Journey. The Rest of the young folks
are found in perfect Health, as is Lady Erroll,
Who joins me in best good Wishes to you. I
am with sincere Esteem

Dear Sir,
your most obedient, and
much oblig’d servant
Erroll
