For Mr Henry Watt.
Sir

I am sorry the Medicine last ordered fits so ill upon
your stomach, & as that is the case I would not insist upon
your taking it, but think some attempt should be made
to discuss the obstructions that remain about the hip joint
& for that purpose have ordered a medicine on t'other page.

This is to be taken by Drops on Sugar ↑in↑ the same
manner as the medicine last ordered & at the same time
of night. You may begin with forty drops for a
Dose but if your Stomach bears it well you may
increase the dose by five drops at a time till you come
to Sixty, but not farther. --- I wish you could sit more
out of bed as it is the proper preparation for getting out in a
Carriage. Mean time a little exercise on your Crutches is
very proper. At times you may use the Anodyne oil but
but it is not so necessary as formerly --
