Reply to 'Al. Molyson Surgeon For Mr Crawfurd'. Advice to Alexander Mollison for treating Mr Crawfurd (one of Mollison's in-laws?), who has suffered a strain at Bridgeton, affecting his kidneys, and also has symptoms of a kidney stone. This needs to be passed or dissolved. Cullen refers him to his directions for 'Mr Burrows' (i.e. Mrs Burrow of Letter ID 380), and recommends the use of lixivium and opiates, with castor oil to temper costiveness.31 January 1777
