Mr Spalding Gordons Case continued


Wednesday night the sweat continued about 13 hours in
the whole, had his flannel shirt Blankets and Flannels
to the feet shifted as directed, sleept little; Thu↑rs↑day Pulse 60
spirits depressed took more food sleept better urine of the
natural colour still lets fall a slight sand coloured
sediments, complains much of his head being pain'd
than before sleept little this night gave an Injection
which caused a stool of very indurated faces. Friday
pulse 70 spirits still depressed took little food sleept little
urine as before. Saturday much the same tonight
gave an Injection voided a little indinated faces
Sunday pulse 72 spirits somewhat better appetite
weak
sleept better urine as before complains much
of the pain in his head and neck. Monday pulse
58 spirits more depressed took food moderately well
urine as before had gave an Injection, had a copious
stool of very indurated faces applied a Blister to the
crown of the head, sleept more, complains much

much of the pain of his head and neck Tuesday
pulse from 78 to 76 full and free, appetite tollerable
urine pale no sediment, spirits better the Blister
discharged plentifully, pain of the head and neck
no better, a small inflammation on the neck behind and
the right Ear with a tention of the muscles, sleept
little
. Wednesday pulse from 56 to 60 spirits very
much depressed
took little food, pain in the head and
neck as intense as ever, urine pale, deposites a
little light gray colourd sediment, complains
of slight spasmodic pains in the left side and
small of the Back, no swelling or Inflamation
in the feet or anclets tho' flannels have been
constantly applied with [coling?] stockings by night
and by day; The right Eye still a little inflamed
his sight very weak
