Mr. Sommerville

Dear Sir

Being in the Country I could not answer
yours of the 3rd. till now.

I must own that amidst the many Cases
that pass thro' my hands I do not recollect yours
and I find no note or memorandum of it in
my Book and must therefore be a little uncer¬
tain about the medicine I formerly advised.

So far as I can judge from the Slight account
you now give me of your complaint I give you
a prescription on other page which I think
may be much the Same with that I gave
you before. You may safely try it and if
it does not answer you may let me know
and at any rate when you Come this way
and call upon me I shall be able to

Settle the matter more exactly. I am
