The first is addressed to John Campbell, Writer to the Signet, Edinburgh, in which Sinclair writes that he had heard nothing from Sir John Sinclair 'under whose care all my letters to Doctor Cullen were sent'. The second is a letter which Campbell is to pass on to Cullen, in which William Sinclair suggests bringing the patient to Leith by water.
