advise you as well as I can but I could have done it {illeg}
if either I had Seen your Self or ↑if↑ a Surgeon had descri[bed]
your case and told me what remedies had been already employd.
In the mean ↑time↑ I can venture to advise the remedy pre¬
scribed on the other page, and after you have employed it for a
week or two let me know the effects and I Shall advise what
may be further necessary. But either then or sooner I
would wish to have an account of your case to the purpose
above mentioned from any Surgeon or physician you may
have advised with. I am
