For Miss Rachel Dunlop

Take half an ounce each of Powdered root of wild Valerian and Powdered root of Columbo, two drachms each of Powdered Kino gum and Prepared iron Rust, one and a half ounces of Conserve of orange peel, and a sufficient quantity of simple Syrup to make an Electuary. Label: Strengthening Electuary the bigness of a hazel nut to be taken twice a day an hour before Dinner and Supper washing down each dose with a glass of toast water.
