and Dancing to be almost let alone, or employed
with very great moderation especially in the
summer season.
I find no occasion for entirely interrup¬
ting his studies. I would indeed dissuade from
any close application or long sitting, but I
am of opinion, that Mr. Tait may contrive
to introduce a great deal of knowledge
without either of these circumstances and
particularly that a great deal may be done
in the way of conversation
I have now touched every article of conduct
that I can imagine necessary for the summer
season which I imagine may be passed as
safely in the South of England as in any
part of the world, but {illeg} years I

therefore I would advise Mr. Malcolm start
the beginning of September to move Southward
proceeding slowly towards his destination for
the winter and so as he may arrive there

the Winter should be one pretty secure against
the inclemencies of that Season. I doubt if any
part of France is shuch ↑such↑ and at least only

of the Mediterranean. Nice I believe is more
secure than any of them, but upon account
of its being filled with the expensive People
