The Consultation Letters of Dr William Cullen (1710-1790) at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh

[ID:5005] From: Dr William Cullen (Professor Cullen) / To: Dr Alexander Taylor (Sanders) / Regarding: Mrs Orr (Patient), Anonymous (Patient) / 15 March 1785 / (Outgoing)

Reply, for 'Mrs. Orr'. Cullen is still puzzled regarding the nature of Mrs Orr's complaints. Though at first he considered them as an affection of the nervous system, he is now persuaded they may 'depend upon an Organic affection' of the brain. He outlines his process for answering questions during busy periods and invites Taylor to report on his case of tetanus he mentioned in his previous letter.
