Miss Renton

Dear Sir

By [certain?] accidents I have not been able
to answer you sooner and am heartily concerned
to find Miss Rentons ailments still continue and
as I am afraid even grow worse and not only bleeding
but every other remedy will have less and less effect
Let [us?] however do the best we can and besides the
remedies and regimen already advised I would propose
you moderate her sweatings to employ the prescription
on other page and I Shall be glad to hear of its success

With Compliments to the family I am
Sir
Your [most] Obedient Servant
