For Mrs Davidson
Queensferry

In a better train than before. The sore throat may
have been of service to her breast, & I am certain the
blister was so. I am disappointed in the Opiates not doing
so much as I expected. But it will at least make her
cough easier & if it do not, I would increase the dose.
I dont dislike the hysteric fit as it generally marks a less
inflammatory state & admits more freely of the use of opiates.
