Dr Mudie at Montrose about ↑Mrs Henderson↑ a Lady

Your fears of topical affection well founded. But
cannot determine the precise nature of it. I have
told you before (in a letter not transcribed) my reasons for

increase her fever & if these dont give her much
relief, I suspect your dose is too small. I am sorry
that the lady refuses the blister, & if her pain re¬
curs with any violence you must insist upon it. You

I make these observations in answer to yours &
