For Mr Robert Stewart

Take three ounces each of rose Water and Water of simple cinnamon, an ounce of antimonial Wine, half an ounce of Syrup of cloves Mix and Label: Diaphoretic Mixture a Table spoonfull an hour before bedtime. -

Take a pound of rose Water, an ounce of Vinegar distillate, four scruples of Sugar of Lead. Dissolve and Label: Strengthening Liquor a Cloth fourfold to be dipt in it & applied every night to the part affected keeping it fixed with a handkerchief.


He should always keep the part well suspended & ---- For 3 or 4 weeks
he should drink a Chopin of fresh cow milk when in the morning.


He should live moderately & avoid violent Exercise - - -
