Normalized Text

For Hamilton Phys. Dumfries Concerning Agnew of Scheuchan.

Your letter makes me understand the case more fully but
not change my opinion. From the history of his family,
his own constitution & the appearance of his ailment, his
fits
I am persuaded depend upon congestion in the brain.
The Consequences may be Fatuity or Mania, but I would
rather fear Epilepsy, Apoplexy or Palsy. These are to be
obviated by the Regimen & medicines befor prescribed, or
at least I would not give any new advice till I know how
he proceeds.
