Revd Mr Thomas McFarlane

I must say that I cannot be persuaded that what you mention as
the beginning of your complaint was really [so?] & whether it
was or not it does not suggest any new measures.

After the fullest consideration I cannot add to what I said
to Mr Gordon & you may I can say be free in time from all
your complaints.
